They are seeking a Senior Accounting Manager consultant to support their eCommerce & wholesale client during a period of organizational restructuring and year-end close. The consultant will lead the revenue workstream, oversee eCommerce activity, and establish the wholesale accounting and A/R function.

Responsibilities
Build and implement wholesale revenue accounting processes, including billing, invoicing, cash application, and revenue recognition
Oversee day‑to‑day wholesale transactional activity: invoice customers, process cash receipts, maintain aging, and ensure timely collections
Support year-end close (01/31): prepare/review revenue entries, reconciliations, and schedules
Review eCommerce revenue and related JEs (Shopify environment); ensure accurate mapping and cutoffs
Clean up and standardize NetSuite data tags/segments to support accurate reporting
Partner cross‑functionally with Wholesale, Operations, and System partners to establish end‑to‑end O2C workflows
Document new processes, SOPs, close checklists, tagging standards, and handoff materials for future hires
Navigate existing gaps and perform reconciliation and account clean-up as needed with adaptability, offering practical process and control
Qualification
Required
Extensive experience in wholesale accounting, including revenue recognition, accounts receivable, invoicing, and cash application
Proficiency in NetSuite, with strong knowledge of transaction types, segments, and revenue configurations
Background in eCommerce accounting, with familiarity in Shopify preferred
Proven ability to build or enhance revenue and order-to-cash (O2C) processes
Solid understanding of accounting principles, including U.S. GAAP, month-end close procedures, and revenue recognition standards
Demonstrated ability to work independently, with excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Availability to work remotely during core business hours (PST)
