Responsibilities

Analyze large, structured datasets from SQL Server, Snowflake, Application Insights, and COSMOS to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. Translating business questions into analytical approaches and measurable KPIs. Perform ad hoc and recurring analyses to support leadership and business needs
Design, build, and maintain scalable batch and near real time data pipelines using Azure Databricks Ingesting data from multiple sources including databases like SQL Server, Azure SQL, Snowflake, Application Insights, and COSMOS
Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports in tools like Excel using advanced formulas and pivots, Power BI using DAX, measures, visuals, drill downs
Automate data refresh processes to ensure timely and accurate data availability for business users
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and analytical requirements. Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership

Required

Bachelor's degree in management information systems, Computer Science, Business, or other analytical disciplines or equivalent experience
3+ years of Strong SQL skills with the ability to write and optimize complex queries across SQL Server and Snowflake. Comfortable sourcing from Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Application Insights (Kusto/Azure Data Explorer queries), and Azure storage
3+ years of experience with Excel, Power BI for data analysis and visualization
3+ years of Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks building production pipelines and transformations
3+ years of Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and transformation
3+ years of experience in application design, development, and delivery in an enterprise environment
Familiarity with data modeling concepts and integrating data from diverse sources

Preferred

5+ years of experience in application design, development, and delivery in an enterprise environment
5+ years of experience developing large-scale data manipulation processes
4+ years of experience utilizing Databricks for Python
5+ years of experience working with relational databases
5+ years of experience implementing large scale enterprise applications
5+ years of experience in analyzing complex, enterprise business problems or processes and translating business requirements into technology solutions that factor in system performance, usability, quality, cross-system interdependencies, scalability, and total cost of ownership
Experience in implementing enterprise applications using platform services like azure App service, COSMOS, Azure SQL, event hubs, Microservices, Snowflake DB, application insights, etc
Experience with Azure DevOps for managing project tasks, managing code repositories, and creating YAML pipelines for CI/CD builds and deployments
Experience with C# and/or Angular development
Relevant Certifications in Data Analysis/Engineering
