Responsibilities
Assist in representing clients in family law, immigration, civil litigation, and criminal defense matters
Conduct client consultations, including meetings with Spanish-speaking clients
Draft pleadings, motions, correspondence, and other legal documents
Appear in court proceedings and administrative hearings under attorney supervision
Manage assigned cases and ensure deadlines, filings, and procedural requirements are met
Communicate with clients in a professional, respectful, and compassionate manner
Participate in training, mentorship, and case strategy discussions with senior attorneys
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Active Pennsylvania law license
Fluency in Spanish (spoken and written)
Strong interest in one or more of the firm's practice areas
Excellent work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn
Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish
Ability to manage multiple cases and competing deadlines
Strong interpersonal skills and client-focused mindset
Organizational skills and attention to procedural detail
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Preferred
Prior legal experience preferred but not required
New Jersey bar admission preferred but not required
