Behavioral Health Clinician
Evidence-Based Associates is seeking a Behavioral Health Clinician to be a key member of their therapeutic team. The role involves providing culturally sensitive clinical interventions and working closely with various stakeholders to ensure appropriate evaluations and treatment interventions for youth.

Responsibilities
Meet with assigned residents for weekly sessions, engage and remain in contact with their parents, ensure home visits are conducted, psychiatric, medical and recreational services are provided
Work closely with the Fair Futures coaches re: vocational/ Educational and housing services
Identifying and providing access to specific concrete services and community resources
Engage families and resources in planning for service
Identifying and providing access to specific concrete services and community services
Advocate, as necessary, with external resources such as mental health providers, medical treatment facility, community members etc. on behalf of the residents
Provide individual, family, and group counseling both on-site and through telehealth at the 9 SILP units for youth ages 18-21 years
Provide support to youth who identify as LGBTQAI+
Liaise between program, family court, ACS, case planners, youth’s family members, and relevant community members
Incorporate DBT skill building into work with youth and their families
Attend other planned ACS and school conferences, as well as court hearings
Qualification
Required
Culturally sensitive clinical interventions experience
Experience working with youth ages 18-21 years
Ability to provide individual, family, and group counseling
Experience with telehealth services
Ability to engage families and resources in planning for service
Advocacy skills with external resources such as mental health providers and medical treatment facilities
Experience in liaising between programs, family court, ACS, case planners, and community members
Incorporation of DBT skill building into work with youth and their families
Ability to provide support to youth who identify as LGBTQAI+
Experience in conducting home visits and ensuring access to psychiatric, medical, and recreational services
Collaboration with Fair Futures coaches regarding vocational, educational, and housing services
