Responsibilities
Producing accurate and comprehensive material quotations for products we represent
Learning the technical aspects and uses for products
Reviewing commercial building plans and specifications to determine HVAC and plumbing products
Performing a takeoff
Communicate at a high level to ensure full understanding of expectations, job progress, etc
Document project process and status using the company ERP system (TRAX)
Qualification
Required
Previous experience as an estimator or similar position preferred
Highly organized and detail oriented
Strong computer skills
Self-motivated and confident in multitasking
Comfortable working with multiple deadlines
Bachelor's degree in construction science or related field helpful
Mathematical aptitude – calculate final sale prices from material costs
Punctual and reliable
Strong analysis and critical thinking skills
Thrive within a team environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills - articulate and professional
