Responsibilities
Supervise tax engagements in accordance with firm and professional standards
Plan and schedule tax engagements with clients and internal resources
Work directly with clients to build and maintain strong relationships
Perform detailed reviews of tax returns and tax work papers
Conduct tax research and provide technical guidance
Communicate with clients and team members regarding project status, opportunities, and other matters
Train, mentor, and supervise staff and senior-level team members
Maintain technical expertise in various tax areas and industry specializations
Qualification
Required
5+ years of public accounting experience
Supervise tax engagements in accordance with firm and professional standards
Plan and schedule tax engagements with clients and internal resources
Work directly with clients to build and maintain strong relationships
Perform detailed reviews of tax returns and tax work papers
Conduct tax research and provide technical guidance
Communicate with clients and team members regarding project status, opportunities, and other matters
Train, mentor, and supervise staff and senior-level team members
Maintain technical expertise in various tax areas and industry specializations
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Accounting (BSBA preferred)
CPA license and/or advanced degree preferred
Ability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
Strong knowledge of accounting principles
Experience with QuickBooks, Microsoft Word, Excel, ProSystem fx Tax, and CCH Axcess Tax
