Research Associate - Radiation Oncology
The Ohio State University is seeking a Research Associate to join the newly established laboratory focused on radiation immunology and cancer biology. The role involves performing laboratory experiments, maintaining daily operations of the lab, and supporting ongoing studies related to cancer research.

Responsibilities
Perform in vitro experiments including cell culture, flow cytometry preparation, PCR, and western blotting
Assist with in vivo studies including tumor implantation, injections, irradiation coordination, monitoring, and tissue collection
Maintain cell lines, reagents, and lab stocks
Conduct data collection and basic data analysis
Maintain accurate and organized laboratory records
Assist with ordering, equipment maintenance, and general lab organization
Participate in research team meetings and assist with training students as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new techniques
1 year of relevant experience
Preferred
Master's Degree or PhD in oncology, immunology, or related field
Experience with mouse handling or in vivo tumor models
Experience with flow cytometry or radiation biology
Familiarity with scientific recordkeeping and laboratory safety practices
