Responsibilities

Assist with AECOM’s Munitions Response Business Development for opportunities released by USACE Huntsville Center
Serve as munitions response Capture Manager; lead proposal efforts including technical approach, pricing, and managing support staff
Serve as a Deputy Program and Client Manager for the USACE Huntsville Center
Provide guidance preparing munitions response proposals, executing projects, and delivering the program
Support delivery of existing munitions response investigations, removal actions, and decontamination and disposal efforts

Required

BS/BA in engineering, environmental science, soil science, geology and or an earth science-related field
8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Due to the nature of the work, US citizenship is required
Ability to obtain/maintain a US Security Clearance

Preferred

15+ years' experience as a Project Manager of federal projects
5+ years' experience managing Munitions Response and CWM task order work for USACE Huntsville Center
High degree of self-motivation and the ability to work independently with limited supervision, as well as in a collaborative team environment
Experience with USACE Huntsville Center and Redstone Arsenal, AL
Proximity (two-hour drive) to USACE Huntsville Center and/or Redstone Arsenal
Able and willing to travel
Demonstrated ability to manage projects to scope, schedule, and budget
Knowledge of project financial accounting, reporting, and controls
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including both oral and written
Advanced report writing skills
Organizational management skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work
Self-motivated, driven, and hard working
Experienced on MMR programs, including CWM and advanced geophysical classification
Demonstrated proposal-writing skills, Multiple Award Task Order Contract proposals
Demonstrated ability to market and win work successfully and effectively
Advanced knowledge of DoD and USACE MMR focusing on CWM requirements and processes
