Responsibilities

Prepare and review individual tax returns (with an emphasis on retirement-income complexity)
Support proactive tax planning strategies including:
Roth conversion analysis and execution support
RMD planning
Social Security taxation strategies
Charitable strategies (QCDs, donor-advised funds)
Medicare IRMAA awareness
Maintain strong documentation and ensure compliance with all applicable tax rules
Communicate clearly with clients regarding tax outcomes and planning opportunities
Coordinate with internal teams to integrate tax strategy into planning recommendations
Stay current on tax law changes and apply updates to client strategies

Qualification

CPAEA certificationTax preparation experienceIndividual tax planningTax preparation softwareDeadline managementMicrosoft Office proficiencyAttention to detailCommunication skills

Required

Strong knowledge of individual tax planning, ideally within wealth management
Excellent attention to detail and high standards for accuracy
Strong communication skills with a client-friendly approach
Proficiency with tax preparation software and Microsoft Office
Ability to manage deadlines without sacrificing quality

Preferred

CPA or EA (Enrolled Agent) preferred
3+ years of tax preparation experience preferred
