They are seeking a National Practice Leader for Engineering to establish and lead a new engineering division, acting as a strategic advisor to executive leadership and responsible for developing and executing the division's long-term vision.

Responsibilities
Provide national leadership for the establishment and growth of the Engineering practice
Develop and execute a clear, scalable strategy to build a full-service engineering division
Serve as the firm’s Engineering subject matter authority
Leverage personal reputation, industry presence, and client relationships to help the firm compete and win against major program management and engineering competitors
Lead business development efforts across targeted markets, including Municipal, Manufacturing, and Industrial sectors
Recruit, hire, and develop senior engineering leaders and key technical staff to build out multiple engineering service lines
Act as a trusted, client-facing leader, strengthening existing relationships and opening new strategic accounts
Represent the Engineering division at the executive, client, and industry level nationwide
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering required - Mechanical or Civil Engineering strongly preferred
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) preferred
Extensive experience leading engineering operations at a regional level, with national leadership experience strongly preferred
Demonstrated success building, scaling, or leading engineering teams or business units
Strong understanding of engineering delivery within municipal, manufacturing, and/or industrial markets
Authoritative executive presence with the ability to influence senior clients and internal leadership
Proven ability to think strategically while executing long-term growth plans
Exceptional communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills
Business-minded engineering leader with the ability to balance technical credibility and commercial strategy
Preferred
Mechanical Engineering background with exposure to manufacturing and industrial clients, or
Civil Engineering background with strong municipal relationships and portfolio
Existing national or regional client network that can be leveraged for growth
Experience competing against or partnering with large, global program management and engineering firms
Track record of hiring and mentoring senior leaders and building multidisciplinary teams
Interest in building a long-term legacy within a growing, entrepreneurial organisation
