Responsibilities
Act as the primary finance partner to US leadership, supporting launch readiness, commercial decision-making, and risk management; serve as the key financial interface with Global Finance and the Swedish parent company
Own US budgeting, long-range planning, forecasting, and launch financial models; monitor performance, assess risks, and inform investment and resource allocation decisions
Provide financial analysis, validation, and risk oversight for US pricing decisions, gross-to-net impacts, and pricing governance, in close partnership with Market Access, Legal, and Compliance
Oversee financial components of government pricing and state drug price transparency requirements, ensuring accurate methodologies, audit-ready documentation, and compliant submissions
Own US GAAP accounting, monthly close, statutory and tax reporting; ensure robust internal controls, audit readiness, and alignment with IFRS consolidation and public-company governance standards
Establish financial processes supporting the US commercial model, including order-to-cash, revenue recognition, gross-to-net management, and launch KPI reporting
Implement scalable finance systems, processes, and governance frameworks to support commercialization, increasing compliance complexity, and future growth
Operate initially as a hands-on individual contributor and single-threaded owner of US finance, leveraging global and outsourced resources, while laying the foundation to build a high-performing US finance capability over time
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA and/or MBA strongly preferred
10+ years of progressive finance experience, with pharmaceutical or biotech industry experience required
Deep working knowledge of US GAAP; IFRS and public, European-listed parent company exposure preferred
Proven experience supporting US pharmaceutical pricing and market access from a finance, compliance, and governance perspective, including gross-to-net dynamics, government pricing, and transparency requirements
Demonstrated ability to provide independent financial oversight in pricing governance, regulatory reporting, and audit-ready environments
Hands-on, execution-oriented finance leader capable of operating independently, building processes from the ground up, and scaling with the business
Strong business partnering, cross-functional collaboration, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial and regulatory topics into clear leadership insights
High standards for financial integrity, documentation quality, and data accuracy, with comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-growth, resource-constrained environment
