Sales Development Representative

Xano is a fast-growing company that provides a unified platform for creating scalable backends for apps. They are seeking a Sales Development Representative to manage early-stage qualification and outbound prospecting, ensuring high-quality opportunities are passed to Account Executives.

Responsibilities

Inbound Qualification: Qualify inbound MQLs from website, content, events, partners, and referrals
Outbound Prospecting: Execute outbound outreach to ICP accounts using multi-channel campaigns (email, LinkedIn, phone)
ICP Targeting: Build and refine prospect lists aligned to enterprise, technical, and agentic use cases
Discovery & Handoff: Conduct initial discovery conversations and schedule qualified meetings for AEs with clear context and notes
CRM Discipline: Maintain clean, detailed CRM records covering lead source, qualification criteria, objections, and next steps
Marketing Partnership: Collaborate with Marketing to improve lead quality, refine messaging, and provide feedback on campaign performance
Sales Feedback Loop: Share insights with Sales on lead trends, ICP fit, messaging resonance, and objections heard in the field
Pipeline Creation: Number and quality of sales-qualified meetings booked
Conversion Rates: MQL → SQL and meeting → opportunity conversion
Opportunity Quality: AE feedback on fit, readiness, and handoff clarity
Activity Discipline: Consistent, high-quality outreach across channels
Process Hygiene: CRM accuracy, notes quality, and follow-through
Collaboration: Effectiveness working with Sales and Marketing to improve GTM performance
