WOC - Research Statistician

Responsibilities

Assists the principal investigator with the development of articles and presentations to present research findings related to a specific research study
Designs experiments, develops models, analyzes complex data to find patterns, tests hypotheses, ensures data validity, and communicates findings
Applies statistical theory to translate biological questions into quantifiable insights and draw reliable conclusions about treatments, disease, or biological processes
Performs statistical analysis for research purposes

Experience: You must possess general experience in (1) any type of work that demonstrates applying statistical theory to translate biological questions into quantifiable insights and draw reliable conclusions about treatments, disease, or biological processes; or 2) designing experiments, developing models, and analyzing complex data to find patterns, test hypotheses, ensure data validity, and communicate findings
Education: You must possess a graduate degree from an accredited college or university in a Biological Sciences field. (Copies of transcripts are required at the time of application)
Combination: Applicants may also combine education and experience to qualify at this level. You must have a combination of experience and education
