This internship offers hands-on experience developing AI-driven solutions in an investment management context, focusing on data engineering initiatives and supporting the use of Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI.

Responsibilities
Assist front office analysts and portfolio managers in identifying AI/ML opportunities and developing lightweight prototypes
Help design and implement data models, support automated data mapping, and perform data quality checks
Contribute to defining best practices for MLOps processes and CI/CD workflows
Stay informed about advancements in LLM and Generative AI models and assist in integrating these into our workflows
Gain exposure to tools like Databricks, Kubernetes, and Azure Data Factory for ETL and compute tasks
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a Master's or PhD in Financial Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field
Familiarity with Python and fundamental software development concepts
Strong interest in AI/ML, data engineering, and cloud‑based technologies
Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively within a team environment
Preferred
Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
Experience with data or compute platforms such as Databricks, or containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and model or experiment tracking tools (e.g., MLflow)
