Responsibilities

Own and grow a defined territory with full accountability for sales performance
Develop new distributor accounts while managing a small base of existing customers
Conduct regular in-person field visits to build relationships and identify growth opportunities
Introduce new products and expand product penetration within accounts
Serve as primary contact for pricing, orders, delivery coordination, and issue resolution
Maintain accurate CRM records, pricing updates, and account documentation
Provide regular sales activity reports, forecasts, and travel itineraries
Collaborate with inside sales and leadership to support territory strategy
Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and supplier events

Required

5+ years of outside sales, territory management, or account management experience
Experience working with distributors or partner-based sales models
Proven success in new business development and territory expansion
Ability to manage a large geographic territory with minimal oversight
Experience selling a broad or complex product portfolio
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Proficiency with CRM systems and sales reporting tools (Salesforce, Tableau, or similar preferred)
Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-driven
