3+ years expJoulé is seeking a Biologist to drive the viral vector process and support bioprocess sample testing. The role involves designing and executing molecular and cellular experiments, as well as managing experimental workflows and vector inventory.
Responsibilities
Drive the viral vector process to deliver internal productions of recombinant AAVs and baculoviruses
Design and execute molecular/cellular experiments, including PCR techniques and cell culture, to support bioprocess sample testing to guide the process optimization
Manage experimental workflows and vector inventory through electronic lab notebook documentation of experimental data, protocols, and reports
Assist in the group efforts on vector expression system upgrade, cell line development and characterization, and AAV capsids
Qualification
Required
MSc with 3+ years, or PhD with 0+ years of relevant experience in a scientific discipline such as molecular/cell biology, genetics, virology, or related field
Proficiency in cell culture and molecular biology techniques (transfection, molecular cloning)
Preferred
Knowledge or preferably experience in AAV and/or baculovirus
