Responsibilities
Design and implement conceptual, logical, and physical data models
Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and semi-structured data
Develop and optimize data warehouses and data lakes
Ensure data quality, integrity, and performance across platforms
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into data models
Optimize SQL queries and data structures for performance and scalability
Implement data governance, security, and compliance standards
Support analytics, BI, and downstream data consumers
Qualification
Required
Strong experience as a Data Engineer
Hands-on expertise in Data Modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake, 3NF)
Proficiency in SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle)
Experience with ETL/ELT tools (Airflow, dbt, Informatica, Talend, etc.)
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts
Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Understanding of data governance and best practices
Preferred
Familiarity with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop – preferred)
