Responsibilities
Administers the end-to-end processing, underwriting, and closing for scored small business loans, ensuring accurate documentation, timely turnaround and compliance with applicable policies
Assists applicants with incomplete forms, researches inquiries and resolves issues. Partners with retail sales leaders to optimize pipeline conversion
Monitors performance of scored loan portfolio. Manages renewals and modifications to maintain credit quality and customer satisfaction
Manages the LOS vendor relationship and related solution providers and teams with IT to implement roadmap enhancements for scalability and automation
Identifies and recommends workflow improvements to reduce friction and improve efficiency for customers and internal teams
Collaborates with Marketing on campaigns to drive small business acquisition
Maintains small business loan policies and credit parameters to balance growth with prudent risk management
Serves as the subject matter expert and intermediary for SBA programs, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements
Qualification
Required
Excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills
In-depth knowledge of operations in small business lending and the banking industry
Skilled in adopting and leveraging technologies to enhance efficiency, communication, and task management
Ability to meet designated deadlines while remaining flexible to changing environments
Associates Degree in business or equivalent work experience
4 years' related experience in banking or loan operations
