Responsibilities
Lead and oversee the api/webservices testing efforts within the project team
Develop and implement test strategies, test plans, and test cases for api/webservices
Automate test cases using selenium and other relevant tools
Collaborate with developers to ensure the quality of code and applications
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team member
Identify and troubleshoot issues in api/webservices functionality
Participate in agile ceremonies and provide testing status updates
Qualification
Required
Strong experience in api/webservices testing methodologies and tools
Proficiency in automation testing using selenium
In-depth knowledge of software development life cycle (sdlc) and testing processes
Ability to lead and mentor a team of testers
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Familiarity with tools like postman, soapui, jmeter for api testing
Experience with ci/cd pipelines and version control systems
Preferred
Relevant certifications in API testing, Selenium, or SDET would be a plus
