Responsibilities
Develop and deploy applications using AWS-native services
In collaboration with business analysts, architects and developers, design serverless solutions using Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, Secrets Manager,Cognito, Aurora and DynamoDB
Implement infrastructure as code using TerraForm or CDK
Optimize application performance and cost within AWS
Ensure compliance with security and governance standards
Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud services
Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the stack
Qualification
Required
Strong proficiency in AWS services Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, Secrets Manager, Cognito, Aurora and DynamoDB
Experience with serverless frameworks and event-driven design
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in AWS
Familiarity with monitoring and logging (CloudWatch, X-Ray)
Programming experience in Java
Strong understanding of security best practices in cloud environments
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile environment
Strong written and oral communication skills in the English language. All contractor employees must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
Strong communication and collaboration skills at all organizational levels
Ability to work independently and in a team setting
Strong time-management and prioritization skills
Adaptability to fast-paced and evolving project requirements
Exceptional customer service skills
Preferred
AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Developer
Knowledge of and experience using AI development and testing tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot)
Experienced with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (ECS/EKS) is a plus
Experience in large scale information technology and database systems utilizing Java technologies and SQL Server
Experience in developing and / or supporting loan origination and servicing systems
