Marketing & Partnership Services Associate - Talladega Superspeedway

NASCAR is a well-known motorsports organization that operates the Talladega Superspeedway, a premier racing venue. The Event Marketing & Partnership Services Associate will be responsible for managing media and grassroots marketing efforts, maintaining partner relationships, and assisting with various marketing initiatives during events.

Responsibilities

Assist with management of radio promotions, including providing promotional assets, requesting tickets, scheduling interviews, etc
Establish, maintain, and grow relationships with advertising and media partners
Assist in managing Grassroots events, including selecting events, scheduling staff, and attending events
Manage creative requests for a variety of Marketing initiatives
Work with Consumer, Group, and Corporate Sales teams to assist with determining and implementing Marketing strategy
Provide support for Kids VIP Experience program during race weekend
Other duties as assigned within the Marketing department, and to assist with other departments as needed
Assist in managing a minority of hospitality accounts during major events
Pre-event planning and day of execution of the STEM Day Program
Manage details of client communication pieces, including hospitality guides, letters, menus, etc
Provide support to the Hospitality team as needed
Support all aspects of the fulfillment process including inventory layouts and contract management
Attend pre/post event site walkthroughs & planning meetings
Assist with special projects as assigned

Required

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing or Sports Management
Minimum 18 years of age
Strong organizational and communication skills
A strong work ethic and willingness to learn and understand NASCAR brand requirements and protocols, as well as sales systems, databases, and partnership management/activation
A team player who is committed to the success of the events
Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in multiple computer programs (Adobe, Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, etc.)
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Willingness to learn and maintain a positive attitude
Desire to engage with fans and oversee data cultivation at offsite events
Ability to lift over 50 lbs
Proficient on Company-provided hardware and software
Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions for extended periods
Reliable transportation to and from the track location
