Mechanical Engineer ( Robotics)
Global Connect Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to support the development of mechatronics systems for Amazon Robotics. The ideal candidate will have experience in both prototype and production-level designs, focusing on delivering efficient results while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
Design and develop 3D mechanical models and 2D drawings for mechatronics systems using SolidWorks
Perform mechanical tolerance stack-up analysis and related engineering calculations
Create mechanical assemblies for electronics and automation systems
Support rapid prototyping and production tooling processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability
Manage projects using Agile PLM tools and methodologies
Communicate technical concepts clearly through documentation and presentations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or related field
Proficiency in SolidWorks MCAD software for 3D modeling and 2D drafting
Experience with Agile PLM systems
Strong knowledge of mechanical assemblies, electronics integration, and automation design
Expertise in mechanical tolerance analysis
Hands-on experience with rapid prototype tooling and production tooling
Proven project management skills
Excellent communication and technical writing abilities
