Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain complex database systems using Oracle, SQL, and PL/SQL
Optimize database performance, including query optimization, indexing, and troubleshooting
Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into effective database solutions
Provide expert advice and recommendations on database architecture, performance tuning, and best practices
Work with CRIMS to integrate and manage investment management workflows and data
Support clients in leveraging CRIMS for their business needs
Develop and maintain reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI to meet client reporting needs
Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement custom reporting solutions
Provide support for database-related issues, including debugging and resolving performance bottlenecks
Document database designs, processes, and procedures for client reference
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in database development with a strong focus on Oracle, SQL, and PL/SQL
Hands-on experience with CRIMS (Charles River Investment Management System) or similar platforms
Proficiency in database design, optimization, and performance tuning
Experience in developing and maintaining reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Crystal Reports
Familiarity with .Net/C# for application development and integration is a plus
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and stakeholders
Ability to work independently and manage multiple client projects simultaneously
Preferred
Experience in the financial services or investment management industry
Knowledge of ETL processes and tools
Familiarity with cloud-based database solutions (e.g., Azure)
Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
