Responsibilities
Investigate and respond accurately and timely to credit bureau disputes and/or Investigate and correct accounts as applicable
Monitor Credit Reporting controls to ensure compliance to policy and procedures
Maintain current knowledge of CDIA guidelines for reporting and responding to disputes, including Metro2 knowledge according to the Credit Reporting Resource Guide
Investigate and respond accurately and timely to Adverse Action and Inquiry Removal requests, including responding directly to the consumer
Investigate and respond accurately and timely to Validation of Debt and Goodwill requests, including responding directly to the consumer
Ensures compliance with Exeter’s policies & procedures, safety, state and federal laws, regulations and standards
Other duties as assigned/ required
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Two (2) years of credit bureau reporting and disputes experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent project solving skills
Able to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience
Self-motivated with the ability to complete multiple tasks with minimal supervision
Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
Strong team player with a high level of professionalism and initiative
Preferred
College degree
(One) 1 to (two) 2 years of work-related experience, in the finance or credit related industry
Previous experience with the eOscar Dispute software
