Responsibilities
Design and implement Spring Boot microservices for catalog, pricing, inventory, and checkout
Refactor WCS customizations into domain-aligned services
Build orchestration flows, caching strategies, and streaming data sync
Implement Kafka topics for asynchronous events
Ensure quality, security, and observability using Prometheus, OpenTelemetry
Collaborate with frontend teams on GraphQL schemas
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and performance tuning
Qualification
Required
HCL Commerce (IBM WCS) – Catalog, Order, Member, Payment, SolrSearch
Core Java (8/11), Spring Boot, Spring MVC/WebFlux
Microservices Architecture, REST APIs
Kafka, API Gateways, Messaging Patterns
SQL/NoSQL Databases
Agile/Scrum, Secure Coding Practices
Preferred
React/Next.js fundamentals
GraphQL client-server collaboration
