Property Specialist - Camp Sacajawea, Wisconsin Rapids
Girl Scouts of the Northwestern Great Lakes, Inc is seeking a Property Specialist to manage day-to-day operations at assigned properties. This role involves maintaining property budgets, coordinating improvements, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations while supporting renters and staff.

Responsibilities
Maintain day-to-day operations at assigned property
Follow long-range property plans for assigned properties
Follow the approved budget plan for the property and provide purchase documentation and receipts
Assist with creating an annual budget for assigned property and keep expenditures within budget. Meet deadlines and process reports in a timely manner
Suggest, plan, and perform improvements to camp buildings and property in accordance with council strategy
Provide support to renters, volunteers, and staff when they are using camp facilities. Respond promptly to issues or concerns that may arise
Follow GSUSA and council policies and guidelines to ensure compliance with relevant American Camping Association, federal, state and local laws, regulations and codes
Coordinate and work with contractors as needed. Be able to submit payment request according to budget standards
Perform year-round grounds maintenance, which includes snow removal, trail clearing, road maintenance, and lawn mowing
Clean and maintain buildings and equipment. Maintain and make improvements to the interior and exterior of service centers
Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies or assist Property Manager with this function
Build and maintain positive relationships with neighboring property owners
Qualification
Required
Oral and Written Communication abilities (i.e. In person, verbal, written, and/or phone) - expresses ideas and facts in a clear and understandable manner appropriate for the individual or group; listens to and comprehends what others are saying; prepares organized and structured presentations; has demonstrated ability to work with a wide range of sensitive and confidential issues and communicate effectively with a diverse group of girls, volunteers, and staff
Judgment and Decision-Making - recognizes when immediate action is required; recognizes when sufficient information has been obtained to make a decision; makes decisions where appropriate or refers decisions to the appropriate organizational level; makes decisions without undue delay
Demonstrate a strong customer service mindset in all interactions with staff, volunteers, renters, and members
High school diploma. Experience with indoor and outdoor maintenance
Experience with a basic knowledge of general maintenance
Ability to take work with minimum supervision and function well as a member of a team
Ability to work under pressure and shift priorities in response to changing needs
Valid driver's license, good driving record, and reliable transportation
The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is frequently required to walk and to operate maintenance equipment manually. The employee must have the ability to move, lift, bend, and kneel. The employee must be able to routinely lift 40 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
