Senior Finance Accounting Manager-Financial Covenants & Reporting
ClearOne Advantage is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accounting Manager of Portfolio & Covenants Analytics. This role is critical to ensuring accurate lender compliance, proactive risk identification, and audit-ready reporting, and works closely with various teams to support all lender-facing obligations.
Responsibilities
Own all portfolio performance calculations required under credit agreements
Monitor Level 1 and Level 2 Portfolio Trigger Events on an ongoing basis
Maintain forward-looking trigger dashboards to identify early-warning trends
Manage Aggregated Vintage Quarter Pool elections, including documentation and validation
Prepare and maintain all financial covenant calculations, including minimum liquidity tests and solvency-related support schedules
Perform pre-close and pre-certification covenant testing prior to reporting deadlines
Identify potential covenant pressure early and escalate risks to the CFO
Maintain detailed, audit-ready workpapers supporting each covenant calculation
Own preparation, reconciliation, and timely delivery of all lender-required reporting, including weekly remittance reports, monthly transaction files, servicing and portfolio reports, borrowing base calculations, concentration testing, eligibility testing, and quarterly covenant schedules
Coordinate inputs across Finance, Servicing, Data, and IT to ensure single-source-of-truth reporting
Prepare Schedules I and II to Compliance Certificates and assemble full certification support packages
Support the CFO in responding to lender questions, audits, field exams, and examinations
Establish and maintain data governance and controls around portfolio and covenant reporting
Reconcile servicing system data to cash activity and general ledger balances
Document calculation methodologies, assumptions, and end-to-end process flows
Interface directly with lenders, administrative agents, auditors, legal, and compliance partners
Support covenant amendments, waivers, refinancing, and facility restructuring analysis
Qualification
Required
6–10+ years of experience in structured finance, asset-based lending, securitizations / ABS, or specialty finance platforms
Direct experience supporting credit agreements with portfolio or performance-based triggers (not limited to leverage ratios)
Hands-on responsibility for financial covenant calculations, collateral or portfolio-based testing, and compliance certificates
Prior experience supporting an executive who signed lender certifications (required)
Expert-level Excel skills, including large datasets, complex formulas, reconciliations, and audit-ready workpapers
Strong ability to reconcile servicing system data to cash and general ledger balances
Proven attention to detail and ability to independently validate calculations and identify data inconsistencies
Strong communication skills and ability to partner cross-functionally
Preferred
Experience with SQL, Python, BI tools, or data warehouses
Familiarity with loan servicing platforms
MBA or Master's degree in Finance
CPA, CFA, or similar professional credential
Experience working in highly regulated financial environments
