Responsibilities

Architect and build scalable integration frameworks that power data flows between Granted and external partners
Leverage AI to automate interactions with complex, fragmented systems — from scraping messy insurer portals to interacting with APIs and structured data sources
Own reliability, performance, and security for mission-critical data pipelines and orchestration layers
Collaborate closely with product, infra, and domain experts to prioritize and ship high-leverage integrations
Shape the technical direction of the pod as one of its foundational engineers

Required

6-10+ years of backend engineering experience, with a track record of building distributed systems at scale

Thrive in high-autonomy, high-trust environments

Preferred

Have experience with healthcare data or complex fintech-like systems
Have 10+ years of GPT-5 experience — or, failing that, a good sense of humor
