Responsibilities
Evaluate project drawings / specifications to determine complete scope of work
Perform accurate material takeoffs and cost estimates using RFMS, Excel, and Outlook. Training and onboarding support provided
Prepare detailed cost breakdowns, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor pricing
Ensure estimates align with project requirements and support company profitability goals
Collaborate with leadership to meet deadlines and finalize competitive bids
Communicate effectively with sales, project managers, and clients to clarify scope and expectations
Maintain organized records of bids, proposals, and cost data for reporting and future reference
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma/GED and 2+ years of estimating experience
Strong ability to read architectural plans and blueprints
Proficiency in Excel
Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
Effective time‑management and multitasking abilities
Valid Driver's License is required
Preferred
Proficiency in estimating software (RFMS preferred)
