The role involves driving the development of seasonal print, pattern, and graphics, ensuring accurate production specifications, and collaborating with cross-functional partners throughout the design process.

Responsibilities
Alongside the Sr. Design Director, responsible for driving the development of seasonal print, pattern and graphics from market research and concept through to execution for line plans and special product launches
Accurately create factory ready specs including: creating repeat tiles and color separating in Photoshop/Illustrator
Balance multiple seasons at once & prioritize workloads according to calendar & seasonal timeline
Ensure that the print charts/walls/archives/boards in working order & up to date for all teams to use as a reference
Work closely with PD to partner on developing the product
Collaborate with other key cross-functional partners throughout the design process
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Fashion, Textiles or Surface Pattern Design
2-3 years of relevant related design experience; some or all specific to print & textile design
Must provide digital portfolio of work
Knowledge of technical print design development techniques and commercialization
Strong computer knowledge including Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Microsoft Excel
Ability to hand draw and paint in various mediums
Strong design and conceptual skills; strong sense of style, color and taste level
Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred
Experience in PLM preferred
