Responsibilities
Develop and maintain automated test scripts to ensure the quality of software applications
Lead automation testing initiatives
Design and implement comprehensive automation strategies for large projects
Proficiently troubleshoot complex automation issues and provide technical solutions
Database Testing
Implement CI/CD Pipeline automation to allow for automatic daily regression testing
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure the successful delivery of software applications
Execute test cases and report defects using issue tracking tools such as Jira
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on the testability and maintainability of software code
Work with the development team to identify and resolve software defects
Participate in the continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) process to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software products
Continuously update test scripts and test cases to reflect changes in software applications and requirements
Ensure that software development methodologies and best practices are followed, and that code is maintainable, scalable, and testable
Maintain technical documentation, including test plans, test cases, and release notes
Provide support to development team members, and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in software testing, and provide recommendations for new tools and techniques that can improve the testing process
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies
Experience in both manual and automated testing
Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or Cypress
Familiarity with testing tools such as TestRail, JIRA, and Jenkins
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot and debug issues
Understanding of security standards and accessibility compliance (Section 508)
Familiarity with load testing and performance testing methodologies and tools
Ability to work collaboratively with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Passion for delivering high-quality software products
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred but not required
