Legal Writing Lecturer
Indiana University Maurer School of Law is seeking applicants for full-time Lecturers to teach the first-year J.D. course in legal writing and research. The role may also involve teaching in other degree programs, and offers the possibility of renewal and promotion after six years.

Teach the first-year J.D. course in legal writing and research
Possibility of teaching courses across Maurer’s other degree programs (including LL.M and Master of Legal Studies programs)
Qualification
Required
Applicants must possess a bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in any field
a Juris Doctorate or foreign equivalent
at least two years of experience practicing law
a strong academic record
excellent writing skills
the ability and desire to work collaboratively on an established team
a strong interest in teaching legal writing
a sensitivity to the needs of beginning law students
