2+ years expJetty is building the first AI-native health coach to assist individuals with chronic illness. They are seeking a Founding Mobile Engineer to own and refine the mobile experience of their product, ensuring it handles sensitive health data effectively and provides a clear user interface.

Responsibilities
Build and ship user-facing features across the entire Jetty mobile app
Translate messy, real-world inputs (voice, text, passive signals, AI outputs) into clear, trustworthy UI flows
Own mobile quality and craft: performance, reliability, accessibility
Integrate AI-driven insights and summaries into the product, handling uncertainty and failure states thoughtfully
Instrument mobile analytics (key events, flows, and retention) to understand how users engage and improve the product quickly
Partner closely with design, backend, and AI leadership to shape product decisions in a fast-moving, early-stage environment
Qualification
Required
~2–5+ years experience building mobile apps in startups or fast-moving product teams
Strong iOS fundamentals and a track record of shipping end-to-end features
You think in flows, states, and edge cases (not just screens)
You can help define and evolve the mobile architecture, making pragmatic tradeoffs between speed and long-term maintainability
You can take a loose problem statement, make good tradeoffs, and ship something solid
You care about polish, reliability, and the small details that build trust
Preferred
Android experience (Kotlin / Compose) or prior cross-platform shipping
Experience with design systems / component libraries
Experience with audio/voice, background tasks, push notifications, or real-time UX
Experience in privacy-sensitive domains (health, finance, etc.)
