Software Test Engineer I - Electrophysiology

Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute test cases to verify system functionality and ensure alignment with business and user requirements
Perform manual execution of tests and run automated test scripts
Ensure testing is conducted in accordance with defined procedures
Document results and generate formal test reports for regulatory submission
Identify and report bugs or enhancements using standard tracking tools
Share product knowledge with team members on an ad hoc basis
Assist in defining test strategies, methodologies, and data setup
Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily scrums, product reviews, and bug triage meetings
Collaborate with software, hardware, field support, and cross-functional teams
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 6 months - 2 years' experience in software testing or a related role
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Preferred
Product quality and testing experience, preferably within the medical device domain
Working knowledge of test automation in a Linux/Unix environment
Programming experience in Python, C, or C++ (desirable but not required)
Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills
Quick learner with the ability to master complex software systems and tools
Experience working in Agile Scrum development environments
Logical and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Understanding of ISO and FDA documentation and compliance standards
Prior experience with ultrasound devices (preferred, not required)

Compensation may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
