They are seeking a Mandarin-speaking social media contractor to manage and grow their presence on Chinese-speaking social platforms, engage with the audience, and create culturally relevant content.
Law Practice
Responsibilities
Manage and grow our presence on Chinese-speaking social platforms, such as:
Xiaohongshu (RED)
WeChat (Official Accounts & Groups)
Douyin (optional / nice to have)
Other relevant platforms popular with Chinese-speaking audiences
Translate and localize existing English content into natural, culturally relevant Mandarin
Create short-form social content (posts, captions, basic visuals, short videos)
Monitor comments, DMs, and trends to identify common questions and content opportunities
Engage with relevant online communities, student groups, and forums
Share insights on what topics, language, and formats resonate most with the audience
Track basic performance metrics (followers, engagement, saves, comments)
Qualification
Required
Fluent in Mandarin Chinese (native or near-native) and comfortable writing for social media
Strong understanding of Chinese social media platforms and trends
Interested in marketing, communications, or community growth
Curious about U.S. immigration, international careers, startups, or creative industries
Organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently
Currently a student or a recent graduate (especially in marketing, communications, international studies, business, or a related field)
Preferred
Experience running personal or org accounts on Xiaohongshu, WeChat, or Douyin
Familiarity with U.S. visas (O-1, EB-1, EB-2 NIW) or international student pathways
Basic design or video editing skills (Canva, CapCut, etc.)
Experience translating or adapting content across cultures
