Regional Sales Manager -Precision CNC Machine Tools
Gables Search Group is partnering with a well-established, global manufacturer of high-precision CNC grinding and turning equipment to identify a Regional Sales Manager covering the western United States. This role is ideal for a proven machine tool sales professional who understands complex, engineered capital equipment and thrives in a territory-based, relationship-driven sales environment.
Responsibilities
Drive direct sales of precision CNC grinding and turning equipment across the western U.S
Develop, manage, and motivate a third-party agent and distributor network
Grow existing accounts while generating new business through proactive outreach and networking
Build and execute regional sales strategies based on market conditions and customer needs
Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM reporting
Collaborate closely with internal technical, applications, and marketing teams
Travel extensively within the territory to support customers, prospects, and agents
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in the machine tool industry
Proven success selling precision grinding and/or turning equipment
Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Experience working with and managing independent agents or distributors
Ability to sell complex, technical capital equipment at multiple levels within customer organizations
Strong business acumen, negotiation skills, and CRM discipline
Preferred
Experience covering large, multi-state or western U.S. territories strongly preferred
