Responsibilities

Design and implement architecture for proof-of-concept (POC) projects, ensuring scalability and performance

Work hands-on with Amazon DocumentDB (preferred), MongoDB, or Azure-based solutions to build and optimize data systems

Collaborate directly with clients to gather requirements, understand business needs, and translate them into technical solutions

Lead end-to-end delivery of data engineering projects, including planning, execution, and quality assurance

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members while managing stakeholder expectations

Required

Proven experience in data engineering with strong expertise in Amazon DocumentDB; familiarity with MongoDB and Azure is acceptable

Ability to design and implement data architecture for complex projects, including POCs

Strong client-facing skills with experience in requirement gathering and delivering tailored solutions

Hands-on experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and performance optimization in cloud environments

Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of managing projects and guiding teams effectively

Preferred

Amazon Doc DB preferred but Mongo or Azure is acceptable
