Business Operations Supervisor Infusion Services

Responsibilities
Directly supervises Navigators and Ambulatory Coordinators
Provides direction, coaching, and performance evaluations; manages workload distribution, workflow optimization, and cross-coverage planning to ensure service continuity
Fosters a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional development across the infusion service line
Leads the systemwide Medication Access Team to ensure timely and equitable access to therapies across all UMMS entities
Partners with providers, payors, and internal stakeholders to streamline workflows for authorizations, financial clearance, and referrals
Ensures compliance with all applicable regulatory, accreditation, and payer requirements
Develops and implements strategies to increase referrals, reduce leakage, and expand service lines
Monitors operational and financial metrics, recommending and executing process improvements
Aligns departmental initiatives with UMMS’s mission and vision and collaborates with leadership to evaluate and optimize business opportunities
Serves as liaison between clinical providers, patients, and internal staff to ensure satisfaction and timely service delivery
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, Nursing, Pharmacy, or related field
Two (2) years experience in home infusion, specialty pharmacy, or payer/provider relations
Preferred
Two (2) years of leadership or supervisory experience
Master's or other advanced degree in healthcare administration, or equivalent
