The role involves assisting in customer consultations, providing accurate information about materials and production capabilities, and coordinating custom project orders from inquiry to delivery.

Responsibilities
Welcome and assist clients in-person, over the phone, or via email with custom 3D printing and fabrication inquiries
Support senior salespeople in quoting and processing client orders
Provide information on available materials, printer capabilities, lead times, and design requirements
Help interpret customer needs and suggest appropriate solutions (e.g., material types, resolution, design adjustments)
Coordinate with production and design teams to track order progress and ensure quality standards are met
Maintain showroom cleanliness and update sample displays or catalogs
Learn and demonstrate basic knowledge of CAD files, 3D printing techniques (FDM, SLA, SLS, etc.), and post-processing services
Use CRM and order management systems to log interactions and follow-ups
Participate in technical product training and industry workshops
Assist with managing inventory of filament, resins, and other materials
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent; coursework or certification in design, engineering, or related fields is a plus
1+ year of experience in a sales, customer service, or fabrication environment preferred
Strong interest in 3D printing, digital fabrication, or additive manufacturing
Basic understanding of CAD software (e.g., Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Rhino) is a plus
Strong organizational and communication skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment
Ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical customers
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and handle small parts and tools
Ability to stand for extended periods when working on the shop floor or in customer-facing roles
