Responsibilities
Assemble and disassemble heavy-duty truck parts and components according to specifications and blueprints
Inspect parts for wear and damage, perform tests to ensure functionality, and identify parts that need repair or replacement
Clean, repair, and recondition parts using appropriate tools and techniques to restore them to operational condition
Conduct quality checks on assembled and reconditioned parts to ensure they meet industry standards and company specifications
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used, repairs made, and tests conducted
Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good working condition and report any issues to the supervisor
Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience in mechanical assembly or a similar role, preferably in the heavy-duty truck parts industry
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
Proficiency with hand and power tools
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Good physical stamina and dexterity
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
