Responsibilities
Work through complex issues that include creating test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts mapped to workflow, and system design requirements
Replicate, isolate, and identify a root cause while providing workarounds and testing, fixes, and patches in a staging or test environment
Monitor system issues and provide feedback
Research and resolve front-end/user and back-end/system problems by diagnosing the root cause, hypothesizing, and mapping out a possible solution, and testing the solution in the QA environment
Resolve issues by engaging appropriate business/policy staff, software developers and/or vendor specialists
Assist users in monitoring and analyzing their data via SQL querying and reporting
Work closely with end users, project management, application developers, and others to understand features and create a robust, comprehensive test strategy to verify functionality
Qualification
Required
Experience in creating test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts mapped to workflow and system design requirements
Ability to replicate, isolate, and identify root causes while providing workarounds and testing fixes and patches in a staging or test environment
Experience in monitoring system issues and providing feedback
Ability to research and resolve front-end/user and back-end/system problems by diagnosing root causes and hypothesizing solutions
Experience in engaging appropriate business/policy staff, software developers, and/or vendor specialists to resolve issues
Ability to assist users in monitoring and analyzing their data via SQL querying and reporting
Experience working closely with end users, project management, application developers, and others to understand features and create a robust test strategy
