Quality Manager - Part 145 Repair Station

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain the Quality Assurance Program in accordance with 14 CFR Part 145
Ensure compliance with the Repair Station Manual (RSM) and Quality Control Manual (QCM)
Conduct internal, external, vendor, and subcontractor audits
Coordinate with the FAA and other regulatory authorities
Ensure compliance with Airworthiness Directives (ADs), service bulletins, and OEM instructions
Oversee calibration and inspection programs
Ensure proper training, qualification, and authorization of inspection personnel
Investigate non-conformities and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
Review and maintain technical records, logbooks, and airworthiness documentation
Monitor compliance with safety procedures and company policies
Support continuous improvement of quality systems and processes
Stay current with regulatory updates and industry best practices

Required

U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident authorized to work in the U.S
Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality or inspection role within a Part 145 Repair Station
Strong knowledge of 14 CFR Parts 145, 43, and 65
Experience with FAA audits, surveillance, and compliance activities
Solid understanding of aircraft technical manuals, OEM maintenance data, and documentation
Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational and analytical skills
Proficiency in MS Office and maintenance tracking systems
Effective communication and leadership abilities
FAA A&P Certificate strongly preferred

Preferred

Previous experience as a Chief Inspector or Quality Manager in a Part 145 Repair Station
Familiarity with AS9110 and/or ISO 9001 quality systems
Experience with auditing tools and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., root cause analysis, Six Sigma)
Exposure to repair station specializations such as avionics, engines, structures, or components
