Responsibilities

Interfaces with all functional departments and handle Continuous Improvement requests
Undertakes independent projects as needed in support of department
Supports Supervisors, Team Leaders and Associates in the application of the Lean principles
Assists in the creation of Work Instructions, Daily Management, 6 Sigma and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) Documents
Assists in designs and fabricates equipment from Creform Tubing and other materials
Assists in the completion of Kaizen Newspaper Action Items
Participates in and supports Kaizen Event
Participate in manufacturing engineering projects
Learn manufacturing processes
Assist with changing/updating manufacturing engineering documents
Assist with time studies
Provides administrative support
May interact with other departments

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
0-2 years machinist experience
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis
Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations

Strong Mechanical Aptitude
Ability to work independently
Ability to complete multiple improvement projects within a team-based environment
Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks and demands to meet deadlines
Able to effectively work with all levels of employees throughout the organization
Maintains company values and holds self and others to the highest standards of conduct
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
Associate degree or equivalent experience
