Business Insurance Agent
Farmers Insurance - Rappa District is seeking a Business Insurance Agent who will operate as an independent agent and collaborate with multiple agencies to grow their business insurance pipeline. The role involves generating leads, building relationships with business owners, and providing tailored insurance solutions while benefiting from existing customer networks.
Responsibilities
Partner with Multiple Middle and South Georgia Agency Owners
Conduct one on one meetings with contractors, restaurant owners, manufacturers, real estate agents, and service industry companies regarding their businessowner policy, commercial auto, workers' compensation and their commercial umbrella
Become a service provider utilizing multiple agency pipelines and customer relationships to maintain a consistent flow of opportunities
BIAs work utilizing multiple agency owner pipelines to get off to a fast start
Concierge underwriting support dedicated to business insurance to streamline quotes and close on preferred businesses
Customized and personalized business flyers, ads, lead programs and media opportunities are available in multiple languages
Access to agent webpage and social media posts create ongoing lead sources
Build and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, networking groups, business organizations, and social media
Grow your business contacts in networking groups, job fairs, workshops and industry mixers increasing Farmers brand visibility
Establish partnerships in target communities to create relationship lead sources for new agents
Collaborate with agency owners to forecast goals and expand targets for local business owners
Award-winning University of Farmers training program for continued learning and training
Develop creative campaigns to attract business owners with agency owners
Analyze workflow and results with agency owners
Qualification
Required
Property & Casualty (P&C) License is required
Proven ability to meet or exceed targets consistently
Understanding of Business Insurance products
Strong people skills and persuasive communication
Organized, reliable, and self-directed work style
Motivation for growth and development
Satisfactory results of background check is required
Preferred
Minimum of three years of face-to-face sales experience, preferably in Business Insurance sales
Fluency in Spanish is a plus
