District Sales Representative
Atlas Wholesale Food Company is focused on maintaining and increasing territory sales while ensuring sustainable and profitable business growth. The District Sales Representative will be responsible for obtaining customer orders, increasing product penetration, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and follow-up.
Responsibilities
Maintain and increase account sales for existing accounts and prospecting new customers. Ensure that customers are placing orders by creating a customer call list and meeting with each account regularly, ensuring orders are placed by order cutoff for each customer
Increase Atlas’s product penetration in accounts to grow sales
Arrange for payment either by collecting or arranging for terms of payment from customers
Maintain accurate paperwork, pricing guides, and order guides for customers
Mine for sales, follow up on sales leads, create presentations for new customers
Keep customers satisfied through special deliveries, making sure special quoted pricing is given, and customer complaints are handled promptly
Demonstrate new products to customers
Keeping customers within payment terms of sale
Creation of customer aides, customer order guides, special sheets, ext
Make sure customer prices are accurately updated in our system through updated pricing templates
Monitoring special order items for customers to ensure that we have them in stock
Make merchandise pick-ups when needed
Maintain sales log of daily activity, and submit the log to the sales manager, weekly
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required

Meticulous about their orders and ability to follow through on promises, quotes, etc
Responsible for using personal cell phone and maintenance of personal vehicle for business purposes
Product knowledge of Atlas inventory, and an understanding of restaurant supplies
Detailed understanding of Atlas's operation and day to day functions
Mastery of the following tools: Updating customer order guides, quoting from competitor invoices, Pricing Template tool
Sound physical, mental, and psychological health
Must be able to lift 100lbs for special deliveries to customers
Respectfulness to supervisors, co-workers, and customers
Must maintain a neat appearance. Dress code is business attire; no denim
Clean driving record
