Responsibilities
Cloud Strategy and Design: Work with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into cloud architecture designs leveraging GCP services (Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, etc.)
Solution Architecture: Lead the design of scalable, highly available, and secure solutions across various industries, ensuring they align with the client’s technical requirements and best practices
Cloud Migration: Provide guidance on cloud migration strategies, assessing existing infrastructure, and creating actionable plans to move workloads to GCP
Consulting and Advisory: Serve as the primary technical advisor to clients, recommending best practices for optimizing cloud adoption, security, and cost management
Stakeholder Communication: Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Implementation Support: Assist in the setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of cloud solutions during the implementation phase, collaborating with other teams to ensure a smooth deployment
Innovation: Stay up to date with GCP product updates, new features, and industry trends to help clients leverage the latest technologies
Documentation: Create and maintain detailed solution architecture documentation and design diagrams for client deliverables
Qualification
Required
15+ years experience in the industry with majority of it around data and analytics
5+ years of experience in cloud architecture based on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Strong knowledge of GCP services (Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, etc.)
Proficiency in cloud-native technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, etc.)
Experience with cloud security practices, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and network security
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
Strong understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure, including databases, networking, and storage solutions
Preferred
Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect (or similar certification) is highly preferred
