Responsibilities
Lead the design, implementation, and evolution of AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform (preferred) or CloudFormation
Own and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and release processes across teams
Define and enforce DevOps best practices, standards, and governance
Lead production operations, incident response, root cause analysis, and system reliability initiatives
Drive security-by-design practices, including IAM, encryption, networking, and compliance requirements
Collaborate with developers, architects, QA, and product teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery
Guide initiatives related to disaster recovery, cost optimization, scalability, and performance tuning
Provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentorship to DevOps and engineering team members
Act as a key contributor in architecture and technical decision-making
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure roles
Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, etc.)
Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform
Proven experience designing and managing enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines
Advanced scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, or similar
Deep understanding of networking, cloud security, and observability
Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments
Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives and influence cross-functional teams
Excellent communication skills in distributed teams
Preferred
AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional or Solutions Architect – Professional)
Experience in regulated or highly controlled environments (fintech, healthcare, enterprise)
Familiarity with observability and logging platforms (ELK, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana)
Experience with Azure or multi-cloud architectures
