The role involves implementing complex business logic directly inside databases using SQL and NoSQL, while also designing high-performance database logic for real-time user workflows.

Responsibilities
Implement complex business rules using:
SQL Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Transactions
NoSQL technologies (MongoDB, Elasticsearch)
Design high-performance database logic for real-time user workflows
Work closely with business and application teams to translate requirements into database solutions
Build and maintain Python utilities/services for automation, validation, and operational support
Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and deliver fixes
Maintain technical and operational documentation
Qualification
Required
5+ years of database development experience
Strong hands-on SQL experience with at least one: Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, DB2
Experience implementing business logic inside SQL procedures
Hands-on Python development (utilities, services, automation)
Working experience with NoSQL (MongoDB and/or Elasticsearch)
Experience with transaction-heavy, real-time applications
Candidates must be able to clearly explain with real examples and numbers: Complex SQL/NoSQL business logic they personally built, Transaction handling and error management, Performance scale (transactions/day, table sizes, users, response times), Python development, testing, and deployment approach, Production support experience and issue troubleshooting
