Senior Interior Designer

They are seeking a passionate and creative Senior Interior Designer to lead design projects, enhancing daily life for residents through thoughtful and elegant interiors.

Responsibilities
Lead multiple interior design projects simultaneously at our various senior living communities, overseeing all phases from concept development through installation and final walk-through
Create and refine interior design concepts, including space planning, finishes, furnishings, lighting, and color schemes. Designs should align with project goals and be thoughtfully tailored to the unique needs and preferences of senior living environments
Act as the primary point of contact for internal leadership, interior designers, architects, contractors, and vendors. Clearly communicate design intent, provide regular project updates, and manage any adjustments to the overall plan
Develop, manage, and monitor project timelines, budgets, and key deliverables to ensure each project stays on schedule and within financial parameters
Work closely with fellow designers, project teams, and external partners to foster a cohesive, productive workflow and support innovative, resident-centered design solutions
Prepare and review all necessary design documentation, including construction drawings, FF&E specifications, and material schedules, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project requirements
Conduct regular visits to any of our senior living communities at our 10 locations in Pennsylvania and one in Maryland to track construction progress, resolve design-related challenges, and ensure the final outcome reflects the intended vision and quality standards
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5 years of experience in interior design, with a strong portfolio that includes work in senior living or related environments
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field
Proficient in Revit, Enscape, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite
Demonstrated experience in project scheduling, budgeting, resource planning, and managing in-house design staff
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders in a dynamic environment
Preferred
NCIDQ certification preferred
