4+ years expRenewyx is working with a top-tier EPC in the utility-scale solar space that’s looking for a strong Utility-Scale Solar Engineer to help lead the design side of major PV and BESS projects. You will be responsible for developing site layouts, performing energy assessments, and ensuring project designs align with construction efforts.

Responsibilities
Develop PV and BESS site layouts and perform production modeling (PVSyst, Helioscope, etc.)
Evaluate site constraints, optimize system design, and recommend equipment
Support estimating and preconstruction teams on design packages
Perform energy assessments and help ensure project financial models are on point
Occasionally visit sites to make sure what’s being built matches what you designed
Qualification
Required
4–8 years of solar design or electrical engineering experience (utility-scale preferred)
Experience working with EOR's and EPC's
Bachelor's in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Strong with PVSyst, AutoCAD, and MS Office
Someone who can work independently but enjoys collaborating across teams
